Lami Salad Servers

Lami salad servers are laminated - the core is 1.6mm marine ply with selected veneers on the upper and lower faces. As they come off the laminating former, each pair is trimmed, detailed and sanded responding to the final shape they've taken after drying. Each pair is unique in shape and the grain and colour of the veneer.

Available in three sizes - small, medium and large - they can be used for a small side salad to a large salad for a whole table.

They're made using different veneers and a choice of non and low allergy finishes - veneers include Tasmanian blackwood, jarrah, European walnut, European beech, myrtle and black-heart sassafras. My two favourite finishes are a Livos finish or Whittle oil wax.

Care instructions: Your salad servers cannot be put through a dishwasher. Wipe with a damp cloth or briefly wash and rinse, making sure you wipe them dry with paper kitchen towels as quickly as possible. The oils in your salad dressing should keep your salad servers oiled, but if they need refinishing, lightly wipe with either grapeseed oil or walnut oil ( but please be aware of tree nut allergies).

Never use olive oil on wooden kitchen or tableware - it doesn't dry, collects dust and dirt and will go rancid.
